Habits in marrage
*TEN (10) GOLDEN SECRETS OF MARRIAGE:*
*TO THOSE WHO ARE MARRIED AND/OR ARE PREPARING TO GET MARRIED SOON*
1. *EVERYONE YOU MARRY HAS A WEAKNESS*
Only God has no weakness. Every rose flower has its own thorns. If you focus too much on your spouse's weakness, you can't get the best out of his/her strength.
2. *EVERYONE YOU MARRY HAS A DARK HISTORY*
No one is an Angel, therefore, avoid digging one's past. What matters is the present life of your partner. Old things are passed away. Try to forgive and forget. The past can't be changed. So focus on the present and the future!
3. *EVERY MARRIAGE HAS IT'S OWN CHALLENGES*
Marriage is not bed of roses. Every shinning marriage has gone through its own test of hot and excruciating fire. True love is proved in time of challenge. Fight for your marriage! Make up your mind to stay with your spouse in time of needs. Remember this is the vow you made on your wedding day!
4. *EVERY MARRIAGE HAS DIFFERENT LEVELS OF SUCCESS*
Don't compare your marriage with anyone else's! We can never be equal, some will be far in front and others far behind. To avoid marriage stresses, be patient, work hard and with time, your marriage dreams shall come true.
5. *TO MARRY IS TO DECLARE A WAR*
When you marry, you must declare a war against enemies of marriage. Some of the enemies of marriage are: Ignorance, Prayerlessness, Unforgivingness, Adultery, Third Party Influence, Stinginess, Stubbornness, Lack Of Love, Rudeness, bitterness, Laziness, Divorce etc. Be ready to fight to maintain your marriage zone.
6. *THERE IS NO PERFECT MARRIAGE*
There is no ready made- marriage anywhere. Marriage is hard work, volunteer yourself and perfect it daily. Marriage is like a CAR with Gear oil, gear box, back axles, etc and If these parts are not properly maintained, the car will break down somewhere along the road and exposing the occupants to unhealthy circumstances. - Many of us are careless about our marriages ... Are you? If you are, please pay attention to your marriage.
7. *GOD DOES NOT GIVE YOU THE COMPLETE PERSON YOU DESIRE*
He (God) gives you, him or her in the form of raw materials in order for you to mold into what you desire. You may desire a man/woman who can pray for 1 hour but your husband/ wife can only pray for 30 minutes. With your love, prayer and encouragement, she can improve and vice versa.
8. *TO MARRY IS TO TAKE A RISK*
You cannot predict what will happen after marriage, as situations may change, so, leave a room for adjustment. Pregnancy may not come in the next 4 years. You may get married to her because she's slim but she becomes 100% fatter after a child. He may lose his beautiful job for years that you have to take the financial responsibility of the family until he gets a new job. But with God by your side, you will smile at last.
9. *MARRIAGE IS NOT A CONTRACT, IT IS PERMANENT*
Marriage needs total commitment, love is the glue that makes a couple stick together. Divorce starts in the mind. Never think of divorce! Never threaten your spouse with divorce. Choose to remain married! God hates divorce
10. *EVERY MARRIAGE HAS A PRICE TO PAY*
Marriage is like a bank account. It is the money you deposit into your bank account that you can withdraw. If you don't deposit love, peace and care into your marriage, you are not a candidate of a blissful home. There is no free love in marriage, You cannot love without giving and sacrificing.

Legacy
HUSTLE FOR LEGACY NOT TOYS!
Anytime I travel down to the village, I usually pay attention to things some of us may not consider. I usually move around to see the mansions that were built when we were growing up, and the cars that was reigning then. Doing this has helped me to understand life better. One of the houses I saw recently was completely dilapidated. I saw another one that I cannot even look at if you give it to me for free. Guess what? I saw the Range Rover that was reigning then, and I couldn’t believe what I saw.
Today’s treatise is not designed to show you how useless material things are. I want a good car, nice house, good clothes and other stuff, but most importantly, I want to leave a good legacy for the next generation! Few days ago, I watched Kenneth Hagin’s 80th birthday that was organized by his son and others in 1997. What moved me was not really the event, but the generals he successfully raised before died. Anyone that teaches faith today is directly or indirectly connected to Kenneth Hagin.
God’s servants like Kenneth and Gloria Copeland, John and Dodie Osteen (parents of Joel Osteen) and many other ministers around the world testified how God used Kenneth Hagin to change their lives. While watching that event I said to myself, although this man is dead, but he is still alive.
Kenneth Hagin is still living through the voices of David Oyedepo, Bill Winston, Kenneth Copeland, Poju Oyemade, and many other global voices. He started the Word of Faith Movement which was originally introduced by E. W Kenyon, and raised thousands of followers who are transferring the same movement to the next generation! That’s is the true meaning of legacy.
It is estimated that about 360,000 children are born daily, and 151,600 people die daily worldwide. So there are 15,000 births each hour, and 6,316 deaths each hour. One day you will be one of them. What values are you leaving behind for the next generation? God did not create you to just struggle for what to eat and what to wear, you are here for a specific assignment, and until you discover and maximize it, life will remain a burden.
Living for self is the pathway to the land of nobodies! Champions are not interested in just meeting their needs but on how to meet the needs of others. By meeting the needs of others, their own needs are met, and they usually immotalize their names in the process. There are people who are alive but we cannot remember them; but there are those who died over 200 years ago but we can’t forget them.
Jesus lived a very short life, but His impact is still speaking till tomorrow. Before He left, He set up a team of twelve people who would understudy Him. He taught these twelve men for three-and-half-years, died, rose back to life, appeared to those men for final instruction, and went straight to heaven. These men took what Jesus taught them to the ends of the earth. Today, there are over three billion Christians on earth. The result of the legacy Jesus left behind.
Don’t just appear and disappear from the world scene. Touch lives, transform your generation and make the world a better place. Sir Isaac Newton gave us the law of gravity, calculus, law of motion and many other inventions. Alexander Flaming gave us penicilin. Sir James Simpson gave us the chloroform which is used to induce patients to sleep during surgery.
R. G Letourneau gave us the earth moving machine, and Orville and Wilbur Wright, the two sons of a bishop gave us the airplane! What are you giving to the world before you die? It is your impact while alive that writes your name in the hearts of men forever.

Improve your self
3 Ways Self-Improvement Can Change Your Life
Focusing on self-improvement has presented many opportunities in our lives—like speaking at live events, writing for online publications and traveling the world.
This can happen for you, too.
But in order for things to change in your life, in order to get where you want to be, you have to grow into the person who is ready for that change. Personal development is vital to your success.
Here are three specific ways focusing on self-improvement can change your life:
1. It presents you with new opportunities.
Growth in yourself eventually leads you to new opportunities, opportunities that don’t come about until you grow into the person who is ready for them. All you have to do is focus on self-improvement—start by reading personal development articles, books, blogs—and implement the things you learn into your own life.
2. It increases your self-esteem to new levels.
Self-confidence is ultimately the starting point to following your dreams—you have to believe in yourself and your dreams enough to go after them. As you grow, you’re building up that mindset, that belief.
When I picked up my very first personal development book—Think and Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill—that’s when my self-esteem started rising, when I really started to believe in myself and my goals. Reading success books was what pushed me to grow, to change, the motivation behind my goals.
3. It can help you become a better version of yourself.
Becoming a better version of yourself is the main goal of self-improvement—to improve in your job, your business, your relationships. Whatever area of your life you’re working on, that’s part of growing as a person. You have to constantly look at what you can improve and have the awareness to know what needs to be done to do it.
The most effective way of finding out how to get better is to ask the people around you to make a list of what you’re best at and where you could make improvements. Take the list of improvements and work on them one by one.
What areas of self-improvement are you working on, and how has it changed your life?

How to discover a lady,s xter
How to Judge a Woman's Character
If you want to get a girlfriend who will treat you well, it's important that you learn to detect a woman's character quickly. Here are some vital signs to be on the lookout for when first interacting with a woman.
Steps
1
See if she speaks negatively about many other people, including all her ex boyfriends. If she only has bad things to say about everyone else, chances are she won't think fondly of you after a while either. On the other hand, if she tends to focus on the positive about people, she will probably be a much better girlfriend for you as well.
2
Be on the lookout to see how she treats others. For example, if you two are out at a cafe, restaurant, or coffee shop, how does she treat the employees, waiters and waitresses? Is she abusive or is she sensitive? Kindness is free, so there is no excuse to be a miser with it.
3
Ask her what are her top values in life, and ask her to be specific. If she focuses on things that are purely superficial, like fame and wealth, chances are she won't stick it out through the rough patches in life with anyone when she is in a relationship with them. On the flip side, if she values loyalty, honesty, trust, and health, chances are she will appreciate a good man who treats her well.
4
Behave in a casual relaxed manner. This is important, because in order to get a woman to reveal her character, it's essential that you don't make her feel judged for being herself. So try to be as relaxed as possible when interacting with a woman. Asking her about her values must be done in a way where she does not feel like there is a right or wrong answer. Don't come across as being too serious, or she will only present to you her "formal" self which is more of an act, rather than who she really is naturally.
5
Make note if she is the kind of person who is able to apologize and own up to making a mistake. If she is not able to do this, she will be a horrible person to have a relationship with, for her ego is so big that she can't admit her mistakes or learn from them.
6
Pay particular attention to how she behaves when she is under stress. If she is still behaving in a way that is kind and honest and sensitive, she is proving to be an amazing woman. However, if she becomes spiteful, hateful, or abusive, this is an indicator of how she will be in the future when under any type of stress. And life definitely will have its stressful moments, so you can be sure such a woman will behave badly again in the future.
7
Listen very carefully when she speaks, because most people give away their personalities very quickly without realizing it. This is because most people don't consciously try to behave badly, so they all think they are great even if in fact they are abusive or cruel.
Detect Woman of good character
CHARACTER
“Charm is deceptive, and beauty is fleeting; but a woman who fears the LORD is to be praised.” Proverbs 31:30 (NIV)
Men, when it comes to dating and attraction with women, “cute” is a fine starting point. I understand that God made men and women to be physically attracted to each other, and I would never encourage a brother to marry a gal he was not at least somewhat attracted to. But “hot” is not a good ending point either—kinda like “hell” isn’t a good ending point.
There is so much about a woman to know as a man contemplates whether or not to pursue her beyond friendship. A common mistake men make before asking a woman out is they make snap judgments about her based on looks and don’t take the time to observe her in action to get an idea of her character.
I’m not saying that you’ve got to see if this woman can pass a comprehensive character evaluation before you go out for a cup of coffee, but I am saying to spend some time in prayer and pay attention to how she speaks to her friends and carries herself around other guys. What drives her? Whom does she love? How does she talk about the people she loves? Things like this will reveal far more about her than her exterior will.
DOWN TO THE CORE
Just as I’ve told the ladies, it is crucial for men to know that character is the undergirding of a woman, the nature of who she is. At her core, she must be a woman of character to get your attention.
Over her lifetime, a woman’s waist and chest size will fluctuate, her hair color will fade, and her interests, passions, and ideas will develop. She might change her mind a dozen times (possibly even in the same hour) and she will keep you guessing for a lifetime. (One of the many mysterious traits about our gender.)
What will remain consistent is her character. To be sure, she will mature and, by God’s grace strengthen, her character over time. But the essential qualities must be in place at the get-go.
A godly man will have complete confidence in her character before he says “I do.” I am not saying she must have reached perfection or even live up to your standards (which, by the way, may be completely unrealistic). I am saying you want to find a woman of godly character (read Proverbs 31).
8 ESSENTIALS
Do you know the answers to these essential questions about her character:
1. IS SHE A WOMAN OF GOD?
If you clearly see evidence of Christ having regenerated her heart, ultimately it is him you have confidence in, not her. He has promised to complete the work in her and you can trust the Holy Spirit who lives in her to refine her heart.
2. WHO INFLUENCES HER LIFE THE MOST?
If it’s Oprah, the gal at the Clinique counter, or her tarot card reader, we may have a problem. A woman of character will surround herself with godly influences—her Bible, her church, and others who love Jesus. She will have friends who don’t know Christ, but she will be influencing them.
3. IS SHE SOFT?
I’m not talking hair, skin, or around the middle. I am also not talking weak, mousy, or a pushover. You want to observe her having a tender heart toward God and others—especially when she is wrong.
4. WHO KNOWS HER WELL?
I get it, the mysterious woman persona is intriguing, but she can’t be a mystery to everyone. If she is not known deeply by someone, chances are she’s hiding something—maybe pain, loneliness, sin, shame—but her character is shrouded. She needs to let the redeeming light of the gospel of Jesus shine in her darkness.
5. IS SHE TEACHABLE?
Humility transforms a woman’s heart. You want her to always be learning more about God first, as well as health, food, art, music, or whatever. A teachable woman will always be growing, changing, maturing, and interesting.
6. IS SHE RULED BY TRUTH OR BY EMOTION?
A woman of character will understand the balance between truth and feeling. She will not be an impenetrable stoic, nor will she be a drama queen. She may lean one way or the other but will ultimately let the truth of Christ control, define, and settle her.
7. IS SHE FEARFUL?
Fear of man can be debilitating in the life of a woman; fearing God is the path to life and freedom for a woman. Marry a woman who, as Peter describes, “[does] not fear anything that is frightening.” You will need her by your side, not cowering in the corner, when life gets tough.
8. IS SHE WISE WITH HER WORDS?
Women talk. It’s science. They have thousands more words to expend in a day than you do. Women of character use their words to build up, speaking love and honor. They do not gossip, tear down, or dishonor with their words. What words does she use that reveal her character?
“Cute” is a good start, but character is the measuring stick of a woman worthy of your time and pursuit. Be intentional about building your own character and diligent in your search to find a woman whose character resembles Christ’s.
