BUILDING BRAND

What are the components and elements of marketing? Pricing is one of the most important. Price setting involves consideration of many aspects of the market, including cost of production, competition, market condition, and quality of product. Promotion Planning is another component. Learn about the key components to marketing success.

The vision you define and create for your business, brand or product is one of the most powerful drivers of growth.
Everyone with responsibilities for delivering the vision needs to understand and buy into it. The entire team of managers, assistants, staff and freelancers needs to have a passionate appreciation of what you are trying to achieve and how you are trying to achieve it.
The vision should be simple and powerful, and easily understood .The team has to make it resonate with their audience.
The message to the client should paint the future for your customers, enabling them to imagine what life be will be like once they have bought the product.
The brand manager or owner should convey the passion. Steve Jobs and Apple’s vision was “to make a contribution to the world by making tools for the mind that advance mankind”
The brand team need to be inspired by the vision and understand its relevance and engage with it. They should be encouraged to contribute to the vision and its transfer to customers.
The compelling brand vision develops a momentum and becomes a growth driver for the business
Let’s look at How to Market and Brand a Product and Business.
Marketing Is the Ultimate Driver In a growing business, and an effective new marketing campaign can generate high returns very quickly.
But it is notoriously difficult to accurately predict the response to a marketing campaign. Sometimes huge amounts of money can be spent to no avail, other times campaigns go viral without much investment, and an apparently small change can bring amazing results, causing sales to increase rapidly.
Sometimes you don’t have to increase your budget, you can spend the same amount of money, but just by changing a headline or strapline, bundling a new offer, or changing a design detail, you can alter public reaction to the product.
To take advantage of this very powerful area of leverage, and use it to grow your business and make more profit, you need to understand what marketing is, how it works, and how to do it.
Marketing is about effective communication. And if you get your communication right, then your customers make new connections, and their behaviour will become buying behaviour.
Successful branding that leads to business growth and high long-term profit requires effort, expertise and commitment.
Watch the response your customers give you. You need to interpret the response to your marketing and branding, and see what the message means to your customers
In marketing it is vital to test and measure, test and measure. Every time you change a variable you need to evaluate the result, and discard what does not work, and build on what does work.
Marketing and branding is a type of communication that’s designed to get very specific results.ie to create demand .Then customers will associate your brand with the solution they wanted unconsciously, and think of your brand when they see similar situations in the future. And this is the beginning of effective branding.
What Is Branding?

There are lots of different ideas about what branding is, and why we should do it.
There are several types of branding strategy, the first type of branding strategy is “defensive branding” the other is called “direct branding.”
Defensive branding is about preventing loss of market share. We see ads from multinationals like Apple, Lexus, McDonalds, Marks and Spencer and others – who run multi-million dollar “conceptual” ads, they take pages in newspapers, magazines, and TV.

They have achieved massive success with their products and services, and their branding strategy is to make sure that no one forgets them. These companies are at the “top of the food chain” in their sector and this is literally a strategy designed to protect their position and prevent loss of market share.
“Direct branding.” Is a strategy that combines direct marketing with intentional branding strategy, to promote growth and win market share
Consider FedEx. They used to be called “Federal Express.” When they first started, they had a tight, focused marketing campaign, based on a powerful “unique selling proposition.” You might remember it:
“When it Absolutely, Positively has to be there overnight.”
This was a key part of the marketing strategy that helped them grow to a billion dollar company. It’s a straightforward, powerful marketing message that makes permanent associations in the mind of the customer for the long-term. It’s direct branding.
Then when they had a huge empire to defend they switched to a “defensive branding” strategy. They shortened their name to FedEx. And they changed their unique selling proposition, and evolved it into a more general tagline. Now their motto is: “The world on time.”
People are not likely to remember “the world on time” when they need to send a package. But it does make a statement that consumers know who the company is and what it can do, it doesn’t need to be spelt out any more.
Using an image-based, defensive branding strategy costs a lot of money, and it’s not the right strategy for a growing company with a tight budget.
There have been some high profile incidents of companies that have had massively successful and unsuccessful marketing campaigns.
Created in 1997, the Taco Bell Chihuahua was the fast-food chain’s big attempt to establish a mascot for their brand, and showed the dog enjoying the beef product. The ad was extremely popular but unfortunately the result was a 6% drop in sales and the resignation of their President .It is thought that the public felt that the ad might have inferred that the beef product may not be graded for human consumption!
The Duracell bunny advertisement was created in 1973 to showcase their batteries’ ability to hold a charge significantly longer than other, inferior battery brands. This was demonstrated by a group of pink toy bunnies all playing the drums simultaneously until their battery ran out. The Duracell bunny lasted longest.
In 1989, Energizer, a competitor, released an ad parodying the famous Duracell campaign. It started with the familiar scene, but then after the Duracell bunny was left alone, Energizer’s cooler bunny, pink with sunglasses came on stage and outlasted Duracell. Again the ad was extremely popular and the Energizer bunny, became a pop-culture icon. Over the next 20 years, 115 Energizer bunny ads were created and a fortune spent on the campaign.
So what went wrong? Well in sales terms, Duracell extended its lead over Energizer and held the lead into the late 90’s. Why?
Because even after seeing the ads thousands of times, consumers had no idea which brand was which. In 1990, near the peak of the Energizer bunny’s popularity, Duracell claimed that 40% of its customers thought the campaign was promoting Duracell, not Energizer.
The products are difficult to distinguish from one another .It is difficult to accurately remember what batteries you are using or how they have performed unless you keep a diary of when you change them. Duracell had already established first that theirs was the bunny that played a drum. The Energizer bunny was apparently a confusion for the customer. Doesn’t pay to be too clever!
Duracell had established first that theirs was the one with the bunny that played a drum. The Energizer bunny was apparently a confusion for the customer. Doesn’t pay to be too clever!
Some companies have famously used the setting of a world record in the Guinness Book of records to spearhead

HOW TO IMPROVE YOUR YOUTHFULL LIFE FOR BETTER

Things To Start Doing Now That Will Improve The Rest Of Your Life

Many youth do ask what exactly will I be doing to improve my youthfull age.read to tell others  How can you teach without readingYou can contribute your own answers to this wonderfull blog. we'll feature the best on DE ELECTRONIS BLOGS here

1. Exercise. And if you can, exercise in the morning. This helps in so many ways. It will help you sleep better at night and be more alert during the day. It will help wake you up in the morning by getting your blood flowing. It will help to sharpen and focus your mind. It will help relieve stress. There are just so many benefits.

2. Don't say "I'll do it tomorrow" or "I don't have time." Tomorrow tends to be the imaginary land that never arrives, and 95-99% of the time when people say "I'll do it tomorrow" or "I don't have time" it really means "I'd rather just be lazy."

3. Don't make excuses. Just do it. If there is something that you want to do, whether it is just something that you think would be fun, a new experience, or something to better yourself then do it. This sort of goes with point #2. If you're making excuses then all that means is your really don't want it that badly.

4. Read books. Get off the internet. Stop reading pointless 3 paragraph articles and read something substantial. It will help expand your vocabulary, it will open your mind, it will inspire real thinking and creativity, and more.

5. Make sure you understand your credit score.

6. Save money. Be aggressive about it. In the next 5-10 years, you'll probably be extremely happy that you did so.

7. Don't hold grudges. Do not harbor hate. It takes a lot of energy to be mad at people so don't bother. Just let things go. And if someone continues to inspire these bad feelings in you, then let them go. It's that simple.

8. Laugh and smile. Always. Having a bad day? First, Smile. A big one. Ear to ear. Force it. Smiling doesn't just happen when you are happy, but it always happens to make you happier. It's scientifically proven. Then go to YouTube (I know earlier I said get off the internet, but laughter is a necessity.), look up a funny video or your favorite comedian and just laugh. Just let go. It'll help.

9. Stop and smell the roses. It's good to want to better yourself, but you also need to know when to take time for yourself and relax. Let your batteries recharge.

10. Be thankful and grateful. Sometimes it can be hard in the moment to realize that you actually have it pretty good, but every now and then just stop and think about everything that you have in your life. There is always someone who has it worse so you should be happy that you have what you have. It's also good to want to be better and to not just accept things for what they are, to challenge the status quo, but at the same time if you are always surging forward and you never stop to appreciate what and who is around you then one day when you finally do stop, you may realize there's nothing left.

11. Be charitable. Not just with your money or your time, but with who you are. Being charitable isn't just about giving when it makes sense, it's about being the type of person who will go out of their way to help the old woman cross a slippery, snow covered street. It's about tipping the waitress even when she was bitchy because maybe she's just having a really bad day. It's about smiling at that person across from you on the bus who looks upset, maybe even ask them if they need to talk. It's about giving that kid who won't stop asking for a job a chance even though their resume doesn't look that great.

12. Be selfish. Sometimes. This may sound contradictory, but hear me out. Sometimes you just need to ignore everyone else, and step away from the world for you. Go on that ski trip.
Get yourself those shoes. That might sound vain, but you know what, if you don't have a healthy mind and a healthy body then how will you help others to do so?

13. Keep your phone in your pocket when with friends and family. Enjoy your time with them. You can always use technology, you won't always have time with your loved ones.

14. Don't be shy. Talk to people. Don't be afraid to strike up a conversation with strangers. What's the worst that will happen? They'll ignore you? Be rude? So what? You don't ever have to talk to them again. Not only will this teach you not to be afraid of rejection, but it will teach you how to network, be personable, read people, and maybe meet some really great people.

15. Listen. When someone is talking to you, LISTEN. Don't just think about what you are going to say, but really listen to what they are saying. Then when they are done you can take a second to think about what you want to say.

16. Be yourself, but don't be an A-Hole. Never be afraid to be who you are. Don't worry about other people's BS opinion of you. Enjoy life and yourself. If people don't like you for who you are then you don't need them in your life. Simple as that. At the same time, if everyone you meet seems to think you're an A-Hole, maybe you should take a step back and re-evaluate yourself.

17. Travel. If you can, travel. It's a great thing to do. It can open you up to so many things that you will never experience in your own little corner of the world. Whether that be lifestyles and culture you could never have imagined, seeing nature in a new light, or giving you the shocking realization that there is something horribly wrong with the balance of power and wealth in this world. Traveling can lead to some great introspection and thought provoking experiences.

18. Be open minded. You don't know it all. You never will. You also couldn't possibly understand everything so be aware of that.

19. Love like a puppy. Don't be afraid to let others in. Love unconditionally. If your heart gets broken, it will heal, and you will learn. But do not let it close you. At the same time, make sure that just because you love so openly that you don't let others walk all over you. You can leave someone behind who treats you wrong, but still have a strong love for them. A lot of us have experienced that.

20. Ask why and be curious. Why is one of the single most powerful words we have as humans. It can open so many doors and lead to so much knowledge. Next time someone tells you something, instead of just accepting it, ask why. Dig deeper. Learn.

21. Follow your passions and your dreams. Do what you love and what you enjoy. Don't settle. Not for a job. Not for a spouse. Not for anything. If you believe that you are capable of more, then go for it, but don't forget to keep at least 1 toe on the ground so that you don't lose everything great that you may already have.

22. Be a child. This is a culmination of many of the previous pieces of advice. Being a child means to love like a puppy. You open your arms with a blissful ignorance. You travel wherever you go, looking at things with a curiosity unmatched by any adult. You see things in a creative light and let your imagination run wild. When you're in a taxi, you're not just on your way to work avoiding traffic, you're avoiding the bad guys and on a mission to save the world. You don't judge. You don't assume. You just accept. You listen and you learn, so intensely that others may assume you had no idea they were talking to you, but one day you'll repeat what they said and surprise them. You ask why because you want to truly understand. You are yourself because you haven't yet learned how to be anything but yourself, but at the same time your imagination will allow you to be and do anything you can dream. As a child, you are often selfish, but at the same time often so surprisingly giving because you don't like to see others sad. You laugh and smile often because there's not much else

CALM YOUR MIND THROUGH MEDITATION

How Meditation Changes Your Brain Frequency

As yogis have known for centuries and scientists can now prove, the benefits of meditation are profound. Meditation is perhaps the most crucial instrument to harness the power of thought, cultivate more peace, clarity and happiness.

Learning to train the brain and focus our attention is crucial to thriving and cultivating a peak performance in any endeavor.

Longtime psychotherapist Dr. Ron Alexander, author of Wise Mind, Open Mind, speaks of mind strength, or the resiliency, efficacy and emotional intelligence that arise as we begin the process of controlling the mind. Mind strength is one of the most empowering tools we can employ to impact and improve all aspects of life.

There are five major categories of brain waves, each corresponding to different activities. Meditation enables us to move from higher frequency brain waves to lower frequency, which activates different centers in the brain.

Slower wavelengths = more time between thoughts = more opportunity to skillfully choose which thoughts you invest in and what actions you take.

5 Categories of Brain Waves: Why Meditation Works

1. Gamma State: (30 — 100Hz) This is the state of hyperactivity and active learning. Gamma state is the most opportune time to retain information. This is why educators often have audiences jumping up and down or dancing around — to increase the likelihood of permanent assimilation of information. If over stimulated, it can lead to anxiety.

2. Beta State: (13 — 30Hz) Where we function for most of the day, Beta State is associated with the alert mind state of the prefrontal cortex. This is a state of the “working” or "thinking mind": analytical, planning, assessing and categorizing.

3. Alpha State: (9 — 13Hz) Brain waves start to slow down out of thinking mind. We feel more calm, peaceful and grounded. We often find ourselves in an “alpha state” after a yoga class, a walk in the woods, a pleasurable sexual encounter or during any activity that helps relax the body and mind. We are lucid, reflective, have a slightly diffused awareness. The hemispheres of the brain are more balanced (neural integration).

4. Theta State: (4 — 8Hz) We're able to begin meditation. This is the point where the verbal/thinking mind transitions to the meditative/visual mind. We begin to move from the planning mind to a deeper state of awareness (often felt as drowsy), with stronger intuition, more capacity for wholeness and complicated problem solving. The Theta state is associated with visualization.

5. Delta State: (1—3 Hz) Tibetan monks who have been meditating for decades can reach this in an alert, wakened phase, but most of us reach this final state during deep, dreamless sleep.

How to Meditate:

A simple meditation to use to begin the transition from Beta or Alpha to the Theta State is to focus on the breath. The breath and mind work in tandem, so as breath begins to lengthen, brain waves begin to slow down.

To begin the meditation, sit comfortably in your chair with your shoulders relaxed and spine tall. Place your hands mindfully on your lap, close your eyes, and as much as possible eliminate any stimuli that may distract you.

Watch your breath. Simply notice your breath flowing in. Flowing out. Don’t try to change it in any way. Just notice.

Silently repeat the mantra: “Breathing In. Breathing Out.” As your mind begins to wander, draw it back to your breath. Notice that as your breath begins to lengthen and fill your body, your mind begins to calm.

Consistency is key. Try to do this breath meditation first thing in the morning and/or at night. Be consistent with your meditation. Shorter meditations on a regular basis are more productive than long sessions every few weeks. Aim for 5 minutes a day and add 1 minute each week.

A NAGGING WOMANN

A nagging woman is the direct opposite of a peace loving woman. Any woman who complains all the time, always and daily has something to complain about is a nagging woman. A nagging woman is seldom happy. She is dissatisfied, has something to complain about, and feels like no body really does what she wants.  A nagging spouse believes that her happiness depends on others. She looks for people who can do her every whim, obey her commands, grant her every wish, and ask her for life directions

The Characteristics of a nagging woman

Compare and contrast mode.
One reason why she is always depressed, is the fact that she is always in the compare and contrast mode. Her spouse is compared to her friend's husband. This is done verbally or internally. She wonders why he cannot afford all the beautiful things her friends get from their spouses, She compares him to his best friend who has changed his cars thrice in two years. He is compared to his colleague in the office who just moved into a great neighborhood with all the luxuries at their beck and call. She doesn't seem to understand why he is more interested in savings than living large like his friends. In her head, her man is the worst compared to every other husband around her. She forgets easily that he is human and has limitations.

Tries To Change Others.
Lives the greater part of her life trying to change her spouse. Struggling to make him what she wants, to get him to eat less, get him to sleep more, make him shave more often and so on. It is good to try to influence others positively. The problem is when we try to make them be like us because we fell like we are the best thing that happened to their lives. He loves to do things like a man and she tries to make him live like her next door neighbour. No man can successfully change another. Even young children at home are born with their different personalities. Try changing your two year old and see how impossible it is. How then do you think that your efforts can change a full grown man. When we try to change adults, we only succeed in making them expert pretenders. They try to be what you want in your presence, but change back as soon as they leave your presence. If your man begins to be like you, who will take over the him that has been dropped. You cannot change him from loving big cars, you can't stop his love for outdoor activities, neither can you stop him from watching football at the expense of your soap operas. We should change what we can and ask God for the grace to tolerate what we cannot change and move on with our lives.

She Is Unobservant;
Never tries to study her spouse. Does not try to find out the reason why he could not afford an expensive gift during the last marriage anniversary. Never cares to know why he has suddenly become withdrawn, what is making him short tempered, why he talks too much lately, why he is drinking more than usual, why he has started to carry office work home, why he is always in a hurry to leave the house. In as much as she is happy, everything else can wait. She complains constantly about his working late but does not try to make the home more comfortable than his office. Sees no reason why he is suddenly a social networking guru, complains of not getting attention from him whereas she is never available to talk with. After complaining, she looks for things to keep her busy and unavailable too. She does not realize that the reason he still drives that rickety car is because he wants his kids in the best schools. All she wants is a better and bigger and LARGER life, refusing to see that he is planning ahead for the kids 'education. He has lost some weight due to the stress of work, colleagues and friends have drawn his attention to his looks except madam. He wears a wrong pair of stocking to work, the last person who sees him leave the house is you, yet it is his secretary who notices and draws his attention to his dressing. Complains about his drinking but not about her uncontrollable Television watch
         A Pleaser Of Other People
She would rather impress her friends than make her spouse happy at home, tries to be every body's friend forgetting that the only thing liked by everybody is water, If we can survive without water, many will withdraw their likeness for it. Every body cannot like me! No matter how hard you try. Even among your friends, some are just frienemies. The nagging wife is always complaining because she wants to look her best at all times to impress. Wants to gain acceptance in the group. Wants him to provide the latest and most trending at all times. Forgetting that reality is different from what we see on the screen. Behind the scenes programs do not really cover everything, you know. Do not spend your few days on earth living to impress others who may not really care about you. It pays to be considerate.

       Never Content;
She can be compared to Oliver Twist. Wants more of everything. The more he tries the more she craves. Godliness with contentment is great gain. Nothing brings peace and happiness than being content. While we struggle to get better and to go higher in life. At every level and step of the way, we should be thankful and content. Craving and lusting without being grateful for what we already have can steal the joy of harvest from us. A content woman is a crown to her husband. She gives him peace and helps him live long. The grass that seem greener on the other side may not really be that green when you cross over to that side. Contentment is different from laziness, it is also different from idleness.  She is always pushing him hard for more, more and more. She never lets him relax comfortably because he has not acquired as much as her friend's spouses. A nagging wife is like a thorn in your pant.  Lives all her life in a rat race of competition and unhappiness. She can be overly dependent too. She wants him to do everything, even where she should assist, she fails to realize that Independence is power.

Who Is A Nagging Woman?
She is a complainer. A nagging woman is always in need; physical need, emotional need, psychological need financial need and all kinds of needs, Quit being needy! and you will be respected even more. A nagging woman is like a dead sea. Always ready to receive but never giving. Imagine eating and drinking without urinating, sweating or even toileting.

A woman in the habit of nagging does not try to help or find solutions, but uses words like:
  Why are you always drinking?
You eat too much
your pot belly is growing by the day
Do something about your size
When are you going to shave and look clean?
When last did you go for a manicure?
Do you polish your shoes at all?
Don't you think that your toothbrush looks old/
I hate the way you snore when you are tired.
You eat too much to lose weight
Can't you just replace this car?
You walk like a pregnant woman.
She just goes on and on without realizing that there is no perfect human anywhere. When you nag, it is easy to mistake that for being truthful and frank. Every time we nag, we become obnoxious and unbearable. We become a pain in the neck. Stop nagging to get what you want! Once you have acquired that nagging attitude, you just cannot wait for him to finish his dinner before attack.

YOUR TONGUE, YOUR LIFE

YOUR WORD CREATES YOUR WORLD!

Many people do not know that where they are in life right now is purely the harvest of what they have been saying all their lives! This indescribable world we live in was crafted by God through His words. Words are seeds sown into the soil of the future, and one day you are going to reap them big time! You gain nothing by saying "I am sick". But you gain everything by saying "I am strong this morning!"

HEAR WHAT YOUR HEAVENLY CONTITUTION SAID ABOUT YOUR TONGUE

Proverbs 18:21 - Death and life [are] in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof.

1 Peter 3:10 - For he that will love life, and see good days, let him refrain his tongue from evil, and his lips that they speak no guile:

Proverbs 15:1 - A soft answer turneth away wrath: but grievous words stir up anger.

Proverbs 10:19 - In the multitude of words there wanteth not sin: but he that refraineth his lips [is] wise.

Ephesians 4:29 - Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers.

Matthew 12:36-37 - But I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment.   (Read More...)

Psalms 127:3 - Lo, children [are] an heritage of the LORD: [and] the fruit of the womb [is his] reward.

Proverbs 12:18 - There is that speaketh like the piercings of a sword: but the tongue of the wise [is] health.

James 3:6 - And the tongue [is] a fire, a world of iniquity: so is the tongue among our members, that it defileth the whole body, and setteth on fire the course of nature; and it is set on fire of hell.

James 1:26 - If any man among you seem to be religious, and bridleth not his tongue, but deceiveth his own heart, this man's religion [is] vain.

Psalms 19:14 - Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in thy sight, O LORD, my strength, and my redeemer.

Proverbs 15:28 - The heart of the righteous studieth to answer: but the mouth of the wicked poureth out evil things.

Proverbs 15:4 - A wholesome tongue [is] a tree of life: but perverseness therein [is] a breach in the spirit.

Philippians 2:14 - Do all things without murmurings and disputings:

Proverbs 17:27 - He that hath knowledge spareth his words: [and] a man of understanding is of an excellent spirit.

James 3:8 - But the tongue can no man tame; [it is] an unruly evil, full of deadly poison.

Proverbs 25:15 - By long forbearing is a prince persuaded, and a soft tongue breaketh the bone.

Proverbs 13:3 - He that keepeth his mouth keepeth his life: [but] he that openeth wide his lips shall have destruction.

James 3:5-8 - Even so the tongue is a little member, and boasteth great things. Behold, how great a matter a little fire kindleth!   (Read More...)
             HEAR THIS
In this life, what you say determines what you see, and your confession determines your destination. "Words are seeds-life's harvests of today are the products of the word seeds of yesterday." I read the story of a woman who went to the doctor because she was having what is medically known as Pyrexia of Unknown Origin (PUO). This is a fever without a traceable origin. Nobody knew what was causing the fever.

They had carried out investigations but could not find anything. Somebody who understands the power of words asked the woman, 'what kind of words do you always speak?'And she said, "Whenever a person said something I didn't like, I would say, 'Stop burning me with your words.'" She kept on talking like that until she developed a fever. She burnt herself with her utterance. She was advised to stop speaking like that and she agreed, and the fever died forever!

It has been discovered that the speech center in the brain controls the nerves. It simply means that, if you wake up in the morning and say something like, 'It's like am about to have malaria", the speech center will send signals to your nerves to get ready for malaria because that's what you demanded for! The power of life and death is located in your tongue, therefore you must use it wisely. Naturally speaking, it's easier to say negative things than positive things and that's why you must train your tongue to always say things that will edify you.

FRIENDS LET US SAY NO TO POVERTY

P O O R. Means passing over oppurtunity repeatedly. poverty is as a result of poor imagination.can you imagine how your next ten years will look like if you did not wake up now.  Hear what our heaveny constitution says;
Good News Translation Proverbs 24:30-34 I walked through the fields and vineyards of a lazy, stupid person. They were full of thorn bushes and overgrown with weeds. The stone wall around them had fallen down. I looked at this, thought about it, and learned a lesson from it: Go ahead and take your nap; go ahead and sleep. Fold your hands and rest awhile, but while you are asleep, poverty will attack you like an armed robber.
LORD I PRAY WHAT EVER THAT WILL MAKE ME GO A HEAD TO SLEEP. WHERE  EVER I AM SLEEPING OVER MY DESTINY,AND WHEN EVER I AM PASSING OVER MY OPPURTUNITY.   O LORD WAKE ALL MY FRIENDS AND I UP IN JESUS NAME AMEN.
